About Body Detoxification

Have you ever felt run down, lacking in energy or simply not feeling good about your body but cannot quite put your finger on the cause. Perhaps you just put it down to boredom, lack of a good nights sleep or simply having an off day.

Body detox has been used for hundreds of years, particularly in those cultures that believe in alternative medicine such the Chinese, Japanese and Indians. Some would fast for days while others believed in longer periods of fasting.

The detoxification process is akin to a spring-cleaning for the body. You take in helpful juices, waters or nutritional supplements and expel the toxins from the muscles, inner organs, skin, hair and nails.

Detoxifying your body can make all the difference between feeling sluggish and unhealthy to being disease free and feeling great.
